PROP 8

I decided to take a few days off and clear my mind before I posted this, because it may be the most important post I ever write. I want this to be done in the spirit of righteous indignation, not anger. This is an issue in which much more than the future of our republic is at stake. Indeed, this issue is one in which all of mankind stands in great jeopardy. Yet, few truly understand the significance of the danger in the repeal Prop 8. While the danger from radical Islam is real, it is an outside force. I am much more concerned about the threat from within, than anyone hiding in a cave in a far off land.

In the famous 1964 speech "A Time for Choosing" Ronald Reagan stated:

"We are at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his long climb from the swamps to the stars."
This enemy is, and was, greater than a single nation. The Soviet Union is gone, but the international Marxist movement is stronger than ever, and it is strong in America. Marxism is diametrically opposed to any form of God that has precedence over the state. In the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe they systematically eliminated freedom of worship. The various forms of Marxism have done likewise in other parts of the world.

For many years in America, the radical left has been at war with traditional religion. The ACLU has been extremely outspoken about their desire to have churches and synagogues lose their tax exempt status. With the repeal of Prop 8 they now have the vehicle to accomplish this evil design.

I want to be clear. I do not hate gay people, or view them as evil. While I view homosexuality as wrong, I realize that no one is perfect, and we are all guilty of doing wrong in one form or another. I also do not view everyone who supports gay marriage as evil. So why did I (in the comments of the previous post) call Dan evil? Because, he claimed to be a faithful Christian familiar with the teachings of the Bible, who was making false claims about it, as an excuse to institutionalize immorality, and tear down traditional religion. I have read his comments on other blogs, and know that he is not an ignoramus. He knows full well what he is doing.

A religion that fails to teach universal morality is not a religion, it is a philosophy. This is the goal of the Marxists. They know they can not topple religion overnight by a use of force. So, they seek to control religion and change its very nature. Ask yourself; what will happen to the churches and synagogues that refuse to compromise their standards and perform gay marriages? First they will have their tax exempt status removed. If this fails to change their views they will have heavy fines placed upon them. Many members will stop donating to the churches and synagogues, because the government is just going to take it anyway. If this does not work, religious leaders will likely face prosecution under hate crime laws.

If they are successful in their designs of removing traditional morality from religion in America, they will do it throughout the Western World. This is not a crazy conspiracy theory. Bill Maher and many others on the extreme left have been vocal about this. Here is a random comment from a blog I read today:

"We also need to ask voters if they would like to begin taxing churches, to help lower our state taxes. I'm tired of my state taxes being raised for a bunch of free-loading fascist nazis, who are obsessed with our private lives."
We must destroy religion

Members of my church played a key part in the passage Prop 8 in California. Although the Church donated no church funds, leaders encouraged members to donate resources to promote Prop 8. As a result, we bore a large portion of the rage from radical gay activists:

Scenes like this played out throughout the nation

The judge that made the ruling is an open homosexual, who has been vocal about his support for the radical gay movement. How can such a man be expected to make an impartial ruling on this issue? How is it that the Prop 8 passed the rigorous test of constitutional experts (as all major propositions are required) but did not pass the constitutional judgments of a radical gay judge? How can one tyrannical judge overthrow the votes of seven million people? The reason is clear; we have ceased to function as a constitutional republic.

Did you hear them chanting tax the Mormon Church, in the video? Give them time, and they will be demanding that the government confiscate church property and prosecute church leaders. Don't delude yourself into thinking that it could never happen in America. Think about all that has happened in the past eighteen months, which you once thought could never happen here. They will come after my faith first, but they will come after your faith soon enough. The radical gay agenda is a tool of the larger Marxist movement.
