This question was a tricky one. In school we are taught that Marconi invented the radio. He was the first to broadcast a human voice, but he did it using patents from others. Mahlon Loomis parented wireless communication decades before Marconi. Nicola Tesla - who Marconi borrowed most of his technology from - actually beat Marconi in the wireless race. I would except Mahlon or Marconi.

Innominatus was the first with a correct answer. But... Quite Rightly gave a complete and total answer, so, both get a whole point. Bastiatarian answered correctly, but was not first, therefore, half a point.
