No, I did not discover I have some kind of physical trait which is outside of the classification of human. Although, that would explain a lot... I've been thinking on and off all day about where I fit in the political spectrum. A lot of people define themselves as being libertarian or conservative. Some define themselves by a party. Where do I fit? What am I?
Party?
I reject political parties. While I may vote for candidates in parties, I wish we would do away with them. I think a large part of our mess has come about from our party system. Having two powerful parties made it much easier for Marxism to spread into public institutions. I like the Republican Party on a local level, but I despise it nationally.
Conservative
In many ways I'm conservative. However, while I'm opposed to terrorism and drug use, I think the war on both of those is futile and fruitless. I also have a hard time with being the world police. Don't get me wrong, I'm for a strong national defense, but I'm against borrowing billions from China to fight never ending foreign wars to help people who hate our guts.
Libertarian
In many ways I'm libertarian. However, I'm deathly apposed to abortion and the homosexual agenda. While I am for actual free trade, I'm opposed to the corporate globalist system that many libertarians have been deceived into embracing as free trade.
Constitutionalists
I do think we need to get back to the constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. However, there are a few things I would like to see changed in the constitution, the Postal Service and some of Wilson's evil amendments need to go.
So what am I?
I'm Trestin, which is an ideology of its own. I'm just a guy who can see things are not right. If I was to be classified into an ideology, anti-socialist would be the most accurate classification.
