THE GAY AGENDA: GOPROUD

Recently there has been a lot of buzz about the upcoming CPAC and several conservative groups refusing to participate in protest to the presence of (a gay activist group) GOProud. Most of these groups have been long time participants in and supporters of the conference.

GOProud tries to present themselves as true conservatives, but their platform is in direct conflict with many core conservative views. Did you know that they champion gay marriage? Did you know that they pushed for the repeal of DADT? Did you know that they appose reversing Roe vs. Wade?

I am most shocked at how many conservative are supporting them. I have heard people say that they appose gay activists, but are okay with GOProud. That is what they are! They are a gay activist group. They are pushing for gay marriage and pushed for DADT repeal. They are nothing more than a Trojan Horse planted by Cultural Marxists to sabotage the conservative movement. I would not be shocked to find that many of their donors are outspoken enemies of the conservative movement.

I realize not every conservative is concerned about social issues, but a lot of us are very concerned about social issues. Asking us to accept a group that promotes values intended to destroy Western civilization is a bit much. Does that mean gay people cannot be conservative? No. I am not sure how the two things go together, but to each his own. However, I will not, I cannot, support a group that openly promotes destructive immoral behavior. This is not an area of compromise, we have already compromise far too much.

Many of the things they support are favorite projects of Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Harry Reid, and BO himself. Do you really want to stand with these people? I would rather stand with our founding fathers:

If CPAC and the GOP, think they can win elections without social conservatives, then let them try. Good luck without the Catholic, Evangelical, and Mormon votes. Good luck trying to win over large portions of the African-American community, who opposes gay marriage. Even in ultra-liberal California, gay marriage was voted down. Do you really want to hitch your wagon to the gay conservative voting block? We need to cut GOProud loose before this becomes a serious problem.

The past week has been a challenge and an honor. I occasionally will receive an angry email about something I wrote, but never have I received anything like this. The content of these emails has only confirmed that I am doing the right thing in standing against the homosexual agenda. The powers of darkness can rage all they wish, I will not back down.
